För att lyckas på tävling är det viktigt att veta vad domaren söker hos dig och din häst. Vi på My Western Pleasure är därför stolta över att presentera vår domarpanel bestående av Ruth Ellen och Christa Baldwin. Dessa kvinnor är båda välmeriterade domare från USA som gärna delar med sig av kunskap och tips. Här presenterar de sig själva!

Ruth Ellen has more than 25 years in the equine industry with
experience which includes:
Seven years of owning and managing a breeding farm for a World Champion Halter Stallion, Sierra Te.
Experience as an equine judge for more than 20 years. Judging assignments have included 21 foreign countries and The All-American Quarter Horse Congress, AQHA World Championship Show, The Gold Coast, The Sun Circuit, The West Coast Circuit, The NRHA Derby, the NRBC, the NRHA Futurity of France and the APHA World Show.
Past training and showing in all english events and most western events, with wins at the most prestigious horse shows, including The Quarter Horse Congress, The AQHA World Show and the NRHA Futurity Show.
Innumerable horses which have been bought and sold either were or went on to be World Champions, Congress winners, NRHA Champions, Honor Roll horses or AQHA and Youth Champions.

Christa Baldwin is an AQHA Professional Horseman and lifetime AQHA member as well as being a National Director for AQHA and has served on the Professional Horseman’s Committee and Pro Horseman’s Council, Show Committee, International Committee, Judges committee and is chairman of the youth committee. Her greatest honor is being chosen AQHA Professional Horsewoman of the year for 2016 by her peers.
Baldwin is an approved American Quarter Horse Association Judge as well as a National Snaffle Bit Association Judge. She has judged every AQHA World Show (Open, Amateur, Select and Youth) and NSBA World show and NSBA Breeders Championship. Chris has judged the nations major Circuits multiple times such as the Florida Gold Coast, Gulf Coast, Arizona Sun Circuit, Red Bud, The Big A, Texas Classic, The Reichert Pleasure Celebration and the Italian Championships as well as shows in Europe and Australia.
Christa has had her training articles and other publications appear in the American Quarter Horse Journal, the Equine Chronicle and the Michigan Quarter Horse Journal. She has done numerous clinics and seminars including the Youth World Cup and several “Ride the Patten’ at the World shows. Her students have been awarded spots on this prestigious World team in several different countries.
Baldwin is a Professional trainer that trains and shows in many different events. They have won over 15 Congress Championships. Her daughter Brandy Baldwin-Bunting won the AQHA All Around Youth and was the Reserve All Around Amateur the next year as well as multiple Congress Champion. She is the 2017 AQHA All around Amateur and won the Equitation as well as being top 10 in several events.
For many years Chris has hosted European, Australian, and African assistants (interns) to increase their knowledge in the training of the American Quarter Horse. Many have gone back to their countries and become Professional trainers.
Stanton Michigan is where Chris and her husband call home. The have a 20 stall barn and indoor arena. Brandy and husband Ken live close by and an integral part of their operation, along with 2 granddaughters, who are now showing and competing on the circuit.
